Violin

Violin is a string instrument with four strings. Violin is sometimes informally called a fiddle. The violin is come from Middle Latin word vitula, which means stringed instrument.The violin, while while it has ancient origins, acquired most of its modern characteristics in 16th-century Italy, with some further modifications occurring in the 18th century. The person who makes or repairs violins is called luthier, of simple violin maker. The violin parts are usually made by differenet type of wood,  and it is usually strung with gut, nylon/steel composite, or steel strings.

The violin produce sound by drawing a bow accross one or more strings (which may be stopped by the fingers of the other hand to produce a full range of pitches), by plucking the strings (with either hand), or by a variety of other techniques.The violin is played in wide variety of musical genres, including Baroque music, classical, jazz, folk music, pop-punk and rock and roll. The violin is usually played using a bow consisting of a stick with ribbon of horse hair stung between the two opposite end of the bow.

Bass Guitar

Bass guitar is a guitar which is played with finger and thumb either by plucking, tapping, slapping etc. Bass guitar is similar to electric guitar with longer neck, scale length, four, five, or six strings. Bass guitar adds more melody to the song. Like the electric guitar, the electric bass guitar is plugged into an amplifier and speaker for live performances. The bass guitar is used in many styles of music including rock, metal, pop, ska, reggae, Dub, punk rock, country, blues, and jazz. In 1930 musician Paul Tutmarc from Seattle, Washington, develop the first electric string bass in its own form. In 1935 Tutmarc‘s company feature his “ Electric Bass Fiddle” , as a four stirng, solid-bodied, fretted electric bass instrument with a 30½-inch scale length.

Madal Nepali Instrument

Madal is a muiscal instrument which was developed in nepal. Which is hand drum and cylindrical in shape with a slight bulge in the middle. The main portion or structure of madal is made of wood or clay, and leather in rounded in its two heads , which produce the sound. Madal are played by holding it horizontally and playing with both two hands. Madal is mostly used for folk song.Famous Nepalese musician Ranjeet Gajmer has introduced this instrument to the Bollywood music and has been promoting its use in as many Bollywood musical pieces as possible.

FLUTE

                               

Flute is a woodwind musical instrument. Unlike woodwind instrumnet with reeds, a flute is a aerophone or reedless wind instrument that produce its sound from the flow of air across an opening. The flute is the highest pitched instrument in most bands and it is made of either wood or metal. Unlike the other members of the woodwind family (the clarinet, the saxophone, etc) the flute does not utilize reeds. Rather, the sound is produced by pushing air through the cylindrical instrument.A musician who plays the flute can be referred to as a flute player, a flautist, a flutist, or less commonly a fluter.

                                                                                                           

The oldest flute ever discover with two to four holes found at Divje Babe in Slovenia and dated to about 43,000 years ago. Another flute dated back to at least 35,000 years ago in 2008 in Germany.The five-holed flute has a V-shaped mouthpiece and is made from a vulture wing bone. A three-holed flute, 18.7 cm long, made from a mammoth tusk  was discovered in 2004.

We can play flute by pursing the lips, blowing into a hole, and the new wind stream (introduced by the breath) bounces around and interacts with the air already in the cylinder. When we blow the flute with a constant air flow, we can listen a good and strong tone. Beginner will get problem of  unclear tone but more practice will make the tone clear and strong.Flutes are common in beginner bands, high school bands, and university level bands. However, the flute is still used in the military, orchestras, symphonies, jazz ensembles, rock bands, woodwind ensembles...the list is endless. Interestingly enough, the flute is enjoying a resurgence in popular music, for its' tones can add just the right amount of pizzazz to any music. You will never learn to play flute unless you love it.  

METALLICA

Metallica is a American heavy metal band formed in 1981 from Los Angeles, California. Metallica was formed when the drummer Lars Ulrich posted an advertisement in a local newspaper, Metallica's line-up has primarily consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield and lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, while going through a number of bassists. Metalllica releases included fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that placed them as one of the "big four" of the thrash metal subgenre alongside Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax during the genre's development into a popular style. The metallica releases heavy metal, thrash metal, hard rock and speed metal type of music. In 1986 release Master of Puppets

Trumpet are among the old musical instrument. The trumpet is the musical instrument with the highest register in the brass family. They are constructed of brass tubing bent twice into an oblong shape, and are played by blowing air through closed lips, producing a "buzzing" sound which starts a standing wave vibration in the air column inside the trumpet.

There are several types of trumpet; the most common is a transposing instrument pitched in B♭. The tube length of the most common B-trumpet is about 134 cm. The predecessors to trumpets did not have valves, but modern trumpets have either three piston valves or three rotary valves. Each valve increases the length of tubing when engaged, thereby lowering the pitch. The trumpet is used in many forms of music,

including classical music and jazz.

Piano is very popular instrument in the world. Piano is musical instrument and also know as a keyboard. Widely used in Classical music for solo performances, ensemble use, chamber music, and accompaniment, the piano is also very popular as an aid to composing and rehearsal.

but piano is more expensive and not portable. Beacuse of its versatility and ubiquity piano is most familiar musical instrument in the world.

Pressing a key on the piano's keyboard causes a felt-covered hammer to strike steel strings. The hammers rebound, allowing the strings to continue vibrating at their resonant frequency. These vibrations are transmitted through a bridge to a sounding board that couples the acoustic energy to the air so that it can be heard as sound. Double Neck Guitar

Double neck (or, less commonly, "twin-neck") guitars enable guitarists to play guitar and bass guitar or, more commonly, a six-string and twelve-string. An early user was John McLaughlin, but the double-neck guitar was popularized by Jimmy Page, who used a custom-made Gibson EDS-1275 to perform the "Stairway to Heaven" and "The Song Remains the Same", although "Stairway to Heaven" was actually recorded using a Fender Telecaster. Don Felder also used the Gibson EDS-1275 during the Hotel California tour.

Semi-acoustic Guitar

These guitars have a hollow body and electronic pickups mounted on its body. They work in a similar way to solid body electric guitars except that because the hollow body also vibrates, the pickups convert a combination of string and body vibration into an electrical signal. A variant form, the semi-hollow body guitar, strikes a balance between the characteristics of solid-body and hollow-body guitars. Advocates of semi-hollow-body guitars argue that they have greater resonance and sustain than true solid-body guitars, as a solid wood body. Several metal bodies were made in the 1950s by violin and cello makers. In the 1970s, John Veleno made a polished aluminum guitar. Liquid Metal Guitars makes a metal body guitar made out of a solid block of aluminum and then chrome or gold-plates the instrument. Many guitars otherwise sold as solid-bodied instruments, such as the Gibson Les Paul or the PRS Singlecut, are built with "weight relief" holes bored into the body which affect the sound of the instrument. The Les Paul Supreme edition is currently described by the manufacturer as a "chambered" instrument, with a weight relief system designed to positively affect the sound.

Electric guitar Pickups

Compared to an acoustic guitar, which has a hollow body, electric guitars make comparatively little audible sound simply by having their strings plucked, and so electric guitars are normally plugged into a guitar amplifier, which makes the sound louder. When an electric guitar is strummed, the movement of the strings generates a very small electrical current in the magnetic pickups, which are magnets wrapped with coils of very fine wire.
